Danny Driver – March 2014

DD 11-10 606Danny Driver‘s busy year continues apace.  After a hugely successful debut with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment playing the CPE Bach Double Keyboard Concerto with Mahan Esfahani and a residence at the Eilat Chamber Music Festival, Danny plays Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time with Jack Liebeck, Thomas Carroll and Maximilliano Martin at the Laeiszhalle, Hamburg on 7th March http://www.elbphilharmonie.de/events/000000e9:0001d9be.en and then travels to Glasgow City Halls to play Eric Chisholm’s epic ‘Hindustani’ Concerto (No. 2) with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by James MacMillan http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ehmnc8, before playing JS Bach, WF Bach, CPE Bach, Ligeti and Beethoven in recital at St. George’s Bristol https://www.stgeorgesbristol.co.uk/event/danny-driver-piano/.
