Mark Kendall has 11 years of experience working in the operatic world, initially as a performer and, subsequently, as a manager of singers and conductors. Following a degree at Cambridge, he embarked upon postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. Mark then went on to enjoy a brief career as a tenor – an experience that gave him invaluable knowledge and insight into the operatic world. Making the most of this and combining it with the negotiating, contract and budget management skills learned in previous jobs, Mark moved into artist management in 2005.  Mark has been the director of Mark Kendall Artists Management since March 2008 and since then MKAM has established a strong portfolio of singers and conductors – finding the best new talent and supporting established artists to fulfil their potential.

Guy Flechter (Artistic Adviser & Artists Manager) has had a distinguished operatic career and, increasingly, as a voice teacher. His many roles have included Essex in Britten’s Gloriana at the Liceu in Barcelona, Alessandro in Mozart’s Il Re Pastore in Antwerp and Ghent, and The Chief of Police in Shostakovitch’s The Nose at the São Carlos in Lisbon; in addition, he posseses an extended experience of contemporary music and of the Lied/mélodie repertoire. Since November 1st, 2011, Guy has been working for MKAM, where, besides his vocal and operatic culture, his knowledge of the French theatres and market will prove invaluable.
